A journey worth taking will most assuredly be hard

It’s a fact of life that at some point in every person’s life they will be faced with circumstances that are difficult. Difficult to the point where they’ll doubt their ability to persevere.

It’s just part of the world we live in. Let’s face it, we live in world that’s just plain nasty, totally unconcerned with you, your feelings, your goals, and your troubles.

However, it’s also true that we live in a world with undeniable beauty, incredible opportunity, and unpredictable moments of joy.

So you’ve got a choice to make. For most, they’ll choose the “glass half full” perspective. They’ll focus on the negative parts of life, and ya, it’s true there’s a lot to focus on.

But why. Why choose to focus on the unavoidable difficult times? What is gained from that? What is the benefit from spending time and mental energy looking only at the negative aspects of your time on earth.

It’s the easy way out.

Actually it’s the weak way out.

Why not be a little different, a little crazy, why not push through the hard times. I’m not suggesting you pretend they don’t exist, they do, you can’t deny them.

I AM saying suck it up, admit and embrace the hard times, the mistakes, the regrets; learn from them, move past them, and LIVE the good times.

Stop waisting time dwelling on the inevitable crap that comes your way, and start spending your mental energy on what causes joy.

What would your life look like if all the energy you expended bitching about the troubles and wrongs of the world was spent trying to change the world for good, on fostering the relationships that matter most to you.

What if?

What if all that mental energy was put to good. Can you imagine what our world would look like if instead of complaining, more of us embraced a sense of gratitude.

It might be crazy, but frankly I think this world needs a bit more crazy, and a little less grumpy.

Let’s try it shall we? I want to be one of the crazy ones, the tireless ones, the ones that don’t know when to stop are the ones that will end up making a difference, they are the ones that will change the world.

I’ll be one of those, what about you?

Onward

A journey worth taking will most assuredly be hard.

It’s just a fact of life; anything significant, anything of importance, will be difficult, even at times seem not possible.

The crazy ones, the tireless ones, the ones that don’t know when to stop are the ones that will end up making a difference, they are the ones that will change the world. Be one of those.
